POSITION OVERVIEW
Responsible for the Company’s accounts payable processing function, which includes proper coding and approvals, accurate data entry and payment of all invoices to ensure the Company’s cash flow is maximized.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Organizes all incoming accounts payable to ensure invoices are received from store locations and appropriately sorted and filed for data entry.
- Reviews invoices to ensure proper match with packing lists and that proper account codes and approvals exist prior to data entry.
- Enters all invoices into the accounts payable computer system for payment. Ensures proper terms and discount codes are utilized.
- On a weekly basis, generates checks and matches check to supporting invoice(s). Electronically files all paid invoices neatly and accurately.
- On a daily basis, follows up on questionable invoices to ensure bills are paid timely and accurately.
- On a monthly basis, reviews all vendor statements to ensure outstanding invoices and credits are resolved in a timely fashion.
- Customer relations – uses tact and interpersonal skills when dealing with Commercial Tire’s outside customers as well as internal employees to ensure positive relations exist.
Maintains files and filing systems

QUALIFICATIONS – Unless indicated otherwise, these are the knowledge, skills and/or abilities that are preferred
· Associates Degree (or equivalent experience); good math skills
- 18 years of age or older and a valid driver’s license (required)
Salary : $18 - $21
