Overview
CommIT Enterprises, Inc. (CommIT) is looking for a FSR/Training Support candidate to join the team in Albany, GA. This position is contingent based on funding, and is in support of the Program Management Warfare 230 (PMW 230) Logistics Integrated Information Solutions- Marine Corps. (LI2S-MC) manages a portfolio of systems that support the logistics elements of command and control, interoperability, and secure access to and visibility of critical data. The PMW 230 portfolio includes the GCSS-MC enterprise resource planning system. The GCSS-MC family of systems is the primary technology enabler for the United States Marine Corps Logistics Modernization (USMC LOGMOD) strategy, providing operating forces with modernized logistics information systems capable of deploying anywhere in the world, during peacetime or war. The PMW 230 PMO is focused on enabling the warfighter to operate while deployed or afloat, with reach-back from the battlefield.
Established in 2001, CommIT is a Certified Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) and Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB) providing innovative technical engineering and data science services. Responsibilities
Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to-
- Demonstrated expertise with Marine Corps policies, orders and directives pertaining to supply, maintenance, and financial management functions
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe, SharePoint, and web editing
- Detailed experience with operational views, systems views, and other architecture products for the Logistics Enterprise Architecture based on the SCOR model
Qualifications
Required Experience and Education:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related scientific or technical discipline
- Minimum of 5 years work experience with GCSS-MC or similar DoD systems
- Minimum of 3 years of instructor or analyst experience supporting Marine Corps or similar DoD efforts
- Substitution: Seven years of Marine Corps experience, with supply or maintenance background within the Marine Corps Logistics Community
Security Clearance:
- Active Secret Clearance
- U.S. Citizenship
