Common Sense Media's age-appropriate media reviews (of movies, TV shows, games, apps, books, podcasts, and websites) and parenting advice are licensed to leading media and technology companies that include Comcast, Target, Sky, Apple, and Vudu.com, among many others. 

We are seeking a full-time Partnerships Coordinator to provide logistical, administrative, and creative support to the Business Development team to support our new business and partnership goals.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time, non-exempt
REPORTS TO: VP, Business Development
LOCATION: San Francisco, CA, preferred, or remote for the right candidate

SOME OF WHAT YOU'LL DO: 

  • Assist with the implementation and execution of internal projects, including writing department recaps and developing presentation decks. 
  • Support research of new business prospects by investigating their product offerings, business models, and consumer sentiment.
  • Maintain accurate records of partner integrations in third-party platforms. 
  • Support the development of partnership reports to record impact and exposure. 
  • Work with the Editorial team to compile curation recommendations to be shared with partners on a monthly basis.
  • Track and compile data specific to the performance of Common Sense Media content within partner platforms in tandem with internal teams. 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal requests to BD from other teams; this role will work closely with teams including Editorial, Product, and Marketing. 
  • Support VP on additional existing and new business partner-related projects as needed. The ability to pivot to new assignments and work against deadlines is essential to the role.
  • Be familiar with trades for partner news and industry trends. Keep team up to date on relevant news and be an active part of discussions around changes to industry and partners.
  • Compile and distribute internal quarterly newsletter updates.
  • Assist with generating partner invoices.
  • Maintain department files, tracking documents, and contact lists.
  • Maintain and update calendars, including partner visits, industry conferences, etc. 
  • Undertake general administrative tasks as required, including scheduling, expense reports, and travel arrangements.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

WHAT WE NEED TO SEE ON YOUR RÉSUMÉ:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years of relevant experience in a related role; client-facing or entertainment media role a plus.
  • Experience in partnerships, sales, entertainment media, and/or business development strongly preferred.
  • Strong market research and analysis skills.
  • Ability to balance quick-moving timelines and ongoing projects.
  • The ability to work independently yet request assistance as needed.
  • Strong computer skills, including Google Workspace; experience building PowerPoint or Google Slides presentations a plus.
  • Salesforce experience a plus.
