About the Role
Common is seeking a Graphic Designer to join our Brand team. This person will collaborate on brand execution and maintenance throughout all visual touch points including, emails, out of home, large scale print, digital product, social media, and internal comms and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Concept, design, and launch brand assets for internal teams that align with and promote Common’s visual brand and consumer story
- Maintain, evolve, and oversee Common’s visual brand identity and its applications company-wide
- Stay up-to-date with brand and design trends, and collaborate on creative concepting
- Communicate timelines, specs, and needs effectively to ensure timely project delivery
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience as a graphic designer
- Basic understanding of responsive, UX/UI design
- Online portfolio that showcases a strong understanding of fundamental design principles
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Animation experience is a plus, but not a requirement
- Highly creative with a sharp eye for detail
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work and maintain an efficient workflow in a fast paced environment
- Critical understanding of information design and the importance of typography
Compensation
- $60,000-$65000 annually based on experience
