The transplant program assistant is responsible for advanced level scheduling and coordination of complex diagnostic testing for pre-transplant patients through all phases of kidney transplant care. The transplant program assistant manages the daily schedules of multi-disciplinary team members and providers including, surgeons, nephrologists, nurses, financial coordinators, social workers, dietitians and pharmacists. This position also schedules all cardiac testing and radiology tests as indicated by the clinical team. This position is vital in ensuring the overall success of the pre-transplant patient day of visit flow through continuous communication and collaboration with patients, their caregivers, transplant care team members and specialty providers.

We Require
Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 2 years of experience in a medical office environment. Knowledge of medical terminology and excellent customer service skills. Proven de-escalation skills, strong organizational skills, ability to work under pressure and strong computer skills.
Preferred: experience in a transplant department
