Title: IT & Facilities Assistant (Hybrid)
Reporting to: IT/Facilities Manager
Starting Salary: $29/hour, plus Employer contributes 13.2% of gross salary to a 401(a)-employee retirement plan. This plan is administered by Nationwide where you are vested 100% on day 1 of hire (No waiting period, no employee contribution required).
CommCorp is looking for an IT & Facilities Assistantto join the team!
This is a unique opportunity to get involved in a fast-growing company that is looking for support in both Information Technology as well as Facilities. If you are willing to roll up your sleeves and learn the ins and outs of these two critical functions, then this role is for you!
The IT & Facilities Assistant will:
- Network administration tasks, including administering user accounts, making adjustments or changes to user permissions, ordering hardware and software, and assist with the setup and distribution of IT equipment for staff.
- Work with employees to train them on the various products used, including both in-person and virtual training
- Provide administrative support including, purchasing, and receiving, shipping, inventory maintenance, and working with vendors, data entry, prepare, and maintain documents particularly for training, company policies and procedures and operating essential machinery such as printers and copiers.
- Act as the primary liaison for staff IT/Facilities inquiries
- Check and ensure that current Boston office facility is kept clean. Assist with setting up meeting rooms: furniture, chairs, tables, AV equipment, easels, flip charts, whiteboards, etc.
- Perform physical tasks and check facilities: move and transfer furniture, supplies, boxes, office, and IT equipment to new building
- Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 0-2 years general professional business experience preferred, or 3-5 years’ experience in lieu of a degree
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong knowledge of C
- Dependable, flexible, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written, with dedication to providing a high-level customer service
- The ability to organize and coordinate workload independently among constant deadlines and shifting priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
· MCP Certification
· Other IT certifications, including CompTIA A , CompTIA IT Fundamentals (ITF ), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CompTIA Network , or Microsoft Fundamentals
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to use hand tools to perform physically demanding tasks.
Ability to use power tools and equipment.
