As a Facility Maintenance Worker I, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient maintenance of our state-of-the-art facilities. With a diverse set of maintenance tasks ranging from plumbing and carpentry repairs to electrical and heating and ventilating work, you will have the chance to hone your skills and develop a broad range of expertise.

As a Facility Maintenance Worker I, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient maintenance of our state-of-the-art facilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain buildings, grounds, and equipment by repairing plumbing, carpentry, electrical, heating/ventilating, painting, and machinery
- Maintain the general upkeep of grounds areas. Including mowing, weed eating, pick up liter, etc.
- Perform janitorial duties
- Ability to work afternoon and weekend shifts
- Assist housekeeping as needed
- A willingness to work as part of a team
- A self-starter/motivated individual
- Adaptability and Flexibility

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): Must be 18 years of age.
Working Conditions
Incumbents in this job title may be exposed to extreme temperatures which requires the following of safety procedures. Must follow safety procedures, such as utilization of eye and ear protection, when utilizing certain mechanical equipment.
Probationary Period
This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
