DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As the supervisor in this role, your main responsibility will be overseeing a team of maintenance and trades workers who are involved in the construction, upkeep, and cleaning of facilities and grounds at Black Moshannon State Park. Your primary focus will be on maintaining all buildings, park roads, facilities, and equipment. Additionally, you will be responsible for planning and organizing park maintenance, delegating tasks to your team, reviewing their work, and coordinating various projects.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
  • This position may require you to work some weekends and holidays.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
  • Four years of semi-skilled maintenance or construction experience in two of the following: electrical trades, plumbing trades carpentry trades, mechanical trades, water or wastewater treatment plant operations, or the operation of small and medium size construction or agricultural equipment; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Special Requirement:

  • All positions require possession of an active motor vehicle license.

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
