DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this role, you will undertake a variety of responsibilities within the county maintenance organization. Your tasks will involve entering payroll data for highway, equipment, and office staff into the System Applications Product ZIPY and Employee Self Service systems, ensuring the precision of time statements. You will respond to payroll inquiries and ensure timely submission of all payrolls. Additionally, you will verify completed leave slips against a check-off sheet each pay period to confirm staff leave, recording these slips in each employee's leave record with appropriate color coding and filing them accordingly.
Other accounting responsibilities include completing and processing non-PO invoices, managing utility and local invoice payments through cash advancements, and performing monthly access coding for organizational purchasing cards. You will also process ice reimbursements for employees, manage payments for employee safety glasses, report dead deer to the county vendor or game commission as necessary, and track these for payment. Furthermore, you will handle the processing of hauling permits as required, input customer concerns into the Customer Care Center system, assign responsible personnel, and document initial contact dates and comments for customer concerns logged by the district office.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (commonwealth title); or
- One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
