- DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In the role of a UCC Building Inspector 2 you will report unsafe conditions and violations, conduct Accessibility Audits for compliance with Accessibility Standards and Building Codes,
conducts inspections and assist with Complaint Investigations against Building Code Officials.
This position is home headquartered. Candidate must reside in Schuylkill County.

- Full-time employment.
- Work hours are 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.

- REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:- Three years of experience inspecting commercial, industrial, or other public use buildings for compliance with building and safety codes; or
- Four years of building construction work which included the performance of skilled trades duties in the electrical, structural, plumbing, or mechanical trades; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Necessary Special Requirements:
- Valid certification issued by the Department of Labor and Industry, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, as an Accessibility Inspector/Plan Examiner, Building Inspector, Electrical Inspector, Mechanical Inspector, Plumbing Inspector, and Energy Inspector.
Condition of Employment:
- This position requires possession of a valid Pa Class C non-commercial driver's license.
