The Executive Coordinator to the Chancellor will play an important role in assisting the Chancellor to achieve maximum impact on strategic and other matters that benefit the mission, vision, and strategic objectives of the Virginia Community College System. The Executive Coordinator to the Chancellor coordinates and performs a variety of executive and administrative projects and duties in support of the Chancellor and members of the Chancellor’s Cabinet. This position will also collaborate closely with the Chancellor’s office staff and other systemwide leadership.

The Executive Coordinator to the Chancellor will help the Chancellor prioritize and make efficient use of time, manage special projects to completion, research and analyze topics of interest or priority, develop presentations and communications such as speeches, and support key leaders who assist with governmental and administrative and operational matters of the System.
This position will be a team member of the Office of the Chancellor, report directly to the Chancellor and work with the Executive Assistant to the Chancellor as needed.
