Job Description
Hires, trains, supervises, inspects, evaluates, and performs corrective actions to a housekeeping staff of a large university residential hall system. Ensures a clean, sanitary and safe environment for residents. Acts as a liaison between upper level management and housekeeping workers.
Required Qualifications
• Experience supervising housekeeping personnel.
• Previous experience with and comprehensive knowledge of commercial/industrial cleaning methods, chemicals, and equipment; and of OSHA and other applicable safety and health policies and procedures.
• Skill in the use of commercial cleaning equipment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills for interaction with employees, subordinates, students, and visitors at a large university campus.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Preferred Qualifications
• Computer experience with Windows, Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• High School graduation or equivalent.
