We are seeking a Bookkeeper/Office Manager with a strong accounting background to perform the fiscal functions for the organization in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. The Bookkeeper/Office Manager supervises, tracks, and evaluates the day-to-day fiscal activities of the organization to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency.

- Previous experience in accounting or bookkeeping (preferably dealership experience)
- Strong financial and analytical skills
- Knowledge and experience with banking, credit cards, and cash flow management

Preferred Qualifications:
The following are preferred for the position:
- Proven previous dealership experience
- Experience with Dealership Management Software. (CDK Lightspeed/EVO preferred)
- Financial controls and compliance audit experience
- Independent and detailed with business acumen
- CPA Designation or Public Accounting Experience
Job Description:
The Bookkeeper/Office Manager is responsible for the following functions.
Accounts payable
- Credit card payments and reconciliations
- General Payroll Accounting
- Other major unit or business payables
Accounts receivables
- Invoicing and tracking receivables
Cash Receipts
- Receiving, depositing, and recording deposits and/or payments on major units, work orders, misc income and/or other receivables
Monthly Accounting/ Reporting
- Maintain an accurate general ledger.
- Construct and deliver monthly financial and year-end financial statements.
- Produce other financial reports as requested.
- Reconcile capital and debt accounts
- Cash flow forecasting/management
- Treasury and budgeting
- Tax Reporting
Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
- Establish and enforce reliable control systems, proper accounting methods and procedures.
- Coordinate and complete annual audits
- Provide policy and procedure improvements or recommendations to enhance efficiency or initiate corrective actions where necessary.
- Establish and maintain fiscal files and records which meet the requirements of clients, auditors, regulators, or government agencies
- Ensure the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements within the scope of the role
- Work with management to ensure and maintain appropriate insurance coverages
