CommScope is looking to add a Quality Assurance Technician to support our Cable Manufacturing Operations team in Pinesville, NC.
How You’ll Help Us Connect The World
As a member of the global manufacturing team, we are looking for a motivated and meticulous individual who would assist the Quality Engineer in developing, maintaining, and auditing the operations and support processes and systems that are intended to assure the quality of the products manufactured.
More specifically, the Quality Assurance Technician will:
• Perform testing for prototypes, new products, and production builds, document test results and processes, and collaborate with engineering for collecting testing data.
• Assist in evaluating existing equipment improvements and new process equipment specifications and create worksheet logs for production use.
• Communicate with manufacturing plants to review production problem areas and special projects. Cross train on the operation of testing equipment.
Required Qualifications
• Outstanding interpersonal skills - verbal and written. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Proficient with MS Office Products, specifically Excel and Word.
• Ability to engage with both the production and engineering teams and provide clear feedback.
You Will Excite Us If You Have
• Knowledge of Sage and/or MS PowerPoint & Visio experience.
• Completed Associate's degree in a technical field of study.
• Previous experience in a Quality Technician role and working with test equipment.
