Systems Engineer - Southeast

We are adding a Systems Engineer to our South Florida Territory. In order to be considered for this role you must live in one of these Florida counties or be willing to relocate at your own expense: Broward, Miami-Dade, Martin, St Lucie, Okeechobee, Indian River, Monroe, Collier, Martin, Palm Beach, Monroe, Glades, or Hendry.

Here, you will be responsible for both the Customer and Partner communities and will work as a team, along with business partners, to craft and sell our Ruckus Networking Solutions. Your primary responsibilities will focus on channel partner development and enablement for Ruckus Channel Partners as well as customer opportunities. We will look to you to perform technical demos, proof of concept trials, and technical training, provide standard methodology design input and review, solution-focused selling and positioning to all levels of decision-makers, and deliver presentations for customers, partners, prospects, and events.

You will have the opportunity to act as a technical advisor to our Channel Partners with the skills to differentiate and competitively position RUCKUS Products and assist the Territory Account Manager in driving revenue and selling solutions to achieve quota. Additionally, you will identify and drive the development of a Channel Partner territory account plan based on awareness of the business economics and trends of the industries, including vertical markets in which one's customers conduct business. • 5 years of experience working with Wi-Fi and switching vendor solutions (Ruckus, Brocade, Cisco, Cisco Meraki, Aruba, Aerohive, Xirrus, Extreme, Dell, etc.)
• Strong ability to support and manage the process of troubleshooting complex technical problems.
• Highly effective technical presentation skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• A proficient understanding of pre-sales engineering, technical sales processes, and critical account management
• Reside in one of these counties in south Florida: Broward, Miami-Dade, Martin, St Lucie, Okeechobee, Indian River, Monroe, Collier, Martin, Palm Beach, Monroe, Glades, or Hendry.
• Able to travel 50%

Bachelor or Masters degree in Electrical engineering; Networking Engineering, Information Technology Management Information Systems, Computer Science

A professional or associate-level networking industry certification such as CCNA, BPIPA, JNCIA, Cisco, Aruba, RUCKUS, CWNA, etc

Our salary ranges consider a wide variety of factors including but not limited to benchmarking by independent third-party consultants, skill sets, years of experience, training, education, geography, and other business needs. Depending on experience, the range can be higher for candidates with exceptional experience and a demonstrated history of successful performance. The expected total salary range (base plus sales plan for this position is $115,000-$185,000.

The candidate will be rewarded with a comprehensive benefits package, including, medical, dental, and vision plans, life and accidental death insurance, a 401(k) plan, and participation in the Company's Incentive Plan. Candidates starting with the Company will be eligible for eleven paid holidays in a full calendar year, paid vacation (prorated based on start date), as well as other leave options.
