CommUnify, Santa Barbara County’s largest nonprofit organization, is currently seeking a Program Manager in Santa Maria. This individual will oversee Familias Seguaras/Secure Families – a new violence prevention program that supports youth and their families in the Santa Maria valley. Ideal candidates will have a passion for working with youth and families who are experiencing a cycle of violence. Case management experience, program implementation, and extensive knowledge of community resources are preferred, but enthusiastic passion for youth, Families, and the Santa Maria community is required.
The position includes the following details:
- Full-time, benefits.
- Responsible for planning, directing, organizing and managing Federal, State and local grants.
- Will monitor program operations, activities, services and staff consistent with Federal and State regulations and Agency policies and procedures.
- Implements quality assurance standards to ensure quality services to clients and customers.
- Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of staff.
- REQUIRES: Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Education, Health Administration or related field and a minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience with three (3) years of providing services in health or human services programs or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Two (2) years direct experience in managing government funded programs, including program and budget planning is highly desired. Strong computer skills and Valid California Driver's License.
- Ability to speak Spanish desirable.
- County wide travel may be required.
