Founded in 1974, Community Access is a pioneer of supportive housing and social services in NYC for people with mental health concerns. Our programs are spread across 25 locations and include over 1200 units of supportive housing in three boroughs, the Howie the Harp Advocacy Center, East Village Access—a PROS program, Peer-driven Crisis Respite Center, Adult Home Initiative and Assertive Community Treatment (ACT).
Department Overview
The Property Management department acts as the managing agent for rental apartment buildings that Community Access (CA) owns or controls; buildings that house CA’s Community Residences and Crisis Respite Center; and offices that house CA’s headquarters staff and non-housing programs. The Property Management department is responsible for leasing; rent collection; regulatory and tax credit compliance and related reporting; and facilities management.

Wage: $170.000 to 180,000

Position Overview
The Director of Property Management will oversee the operational, financial, and administrative aspects of our property portfolio, focusing on supportive and affordable housing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing LIHTC, HOME, Project-Based Voucher, Shelter Plus Care, Tenant-Based Voucher, and other subsidy compliance programs. Some of the key responsibilities that fall under the responsibility of the Director of Property Management are as follows: Leaderships and Strategy, Compliance, Government and Investor relations, Financial Management, Waitlist and Occupancy, Tenant Relations and Team Management.
