SUMMARY :
2-1-1 Kern is a 24 / 7 operation open 365 days per year with a variety of shifts available. Work schedule may include evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
May be required to assist and support after-hours staff as needed.
The Information and Referral Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the 2-1-1 Kern database and communicating with referring agencies to ensure resources are updated annually or as needed when changes are implemented.
The position is expected to be skilled and knowledgeable of all platforms and systems utilized to connect with the public and provide information via telephone, bi-directional texting, and live chat.
The Information & Referral Coordinator is required to have experience in meeting reporting deadlines, monitoring a call handling database for information and referral entries, and observing call handling procedures by call center staff.
