What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Support Staff position at Community Care Alliance?
All staff must be vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to starting work, unless a certified medical exemption accommodation is granted. Proof of vaccination must be show upon hire.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The purpose of this position is to provide support to students in their public school. These students present behavioral challenges that continue to interfere with daily success and have been identified by the school leadership as needing additional supports. The clinical support staff will support students at McCourt Middle School as assigned by school administration.
Duties may include:
Conduct observations and report to school administration and/or school team the results as it relates to student behaviors. This can be done for an individual student and/or a classroom as a whole.
Manage student caseload as assigned by school administration and/or school team.
Employ therapeutic interventions and crisis management skills to safely manage any at risk student behavior in the school setting as needed and as approved by school administration and/or school team
Assist administration and school team with the development and implementation of a behavior plan for a specific student as needed.
Document and maintain data as needed for individual students and/or classroom behavior as determined by administration and/or school team.
Participate in school meetings as requested by administration and/or school team (Parent meetings, Behavior plan meetings, school staff meetings etc.)
Conduct Risk assessments as needed.
