What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at COMMUNITY CARE PHYSICIANS?
Our Family Practice Colonie is looking for a Medical Assistant to join their team! The hours are: Monday - Thursday 730a-430p and Saturday 730a-1230p .
** This position is eligible for up to a $1,000 recruitment and retention bonus!!**
Responsibilities:
- Document verbal conversations and information into the patient records in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
- Maintain timely patient flow.
- Prepare patient for visit as appropriate, based on office/provider requirements.
- Obtain specimens (i.e., urine, blood, etc.) from patients as directed by the provider.
- Accurate and timely order entry into the lab system.
- Perform clinical office procedures as directed by the provider (i.e. EKG, PFT, etc.).
- Assist providers with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.

Annual salary range: $15.50 - $22.00
