Pay Rate: $14.00 to $15.00 hourly, depending on qualifications

Join the Head Start teaching team in a teacher assistant-type position in facilitating many classroom activities such as field trips, lesson planning, and classroom maintenance. This is an excellent opportunity to learn the basics of the Head Start classroom and start a career track to becoming a Head Start Teacher. This position may also assist in the kitchen, bus, or other areas of operation.
As a minimum requirement, the applicant must be 18 years of age. This entry-level position requires no previous education or experience unless a local or state regulation requires a high school diploma or G.E.D. A high school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred. Some states may require additional requirements for kitchen aide duties (i.e., Safe Serve).
Schedule: Full-Time, 35 Hours per Week, Monday – Friday, Weeks 38 Weeks per Year
