Description
Function: Reporting to the Community Programs Supervisor, the Administrative Coordinator will support all programs at Caridad Community Kitchen including Senior Meals, Community Meals and Culinary Training.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Coordinate and maintain partnerships with contracted partners by communicating to ensure we meet the needs of the community.
- Create, organize and maintain all electronic and physical program files.
- Design and maintain meal number spreadsheets for all programs.
- Accurate data entry for accounts payable and receivable using accounting software and other programs.
- Provides guest support through set-up and distribution of food and personal care items as needed.
- Daily tasks including but not limited to office organization, guest services, and staff support.
- Works independently and within a team on non-recurring and ongoing projects.
- Facilitate communications, both oral and written.
- Plans schedules, and attends meetings, recordings and publishing minutes to attendees in a timely manner.
- Schedules and organizes department activities as requested, coordinating calendars as appropriate.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 21 years or more of age for company insurance.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience serving in an administrative capacity, preferably with a non-profit organization.
- Solid planning and organization skills.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment such as telephones, computers, and copy machines.
- Strong oral and written communications.
- Demonstrated planning and organization skills.
- Experience and strong attention to detail in composing, typing and proof-reading communications material.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills utilized in staff and client relations.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Working knowledge of virtual meeting software.
- Possess and maintain a good driving record and a current and valid Arizona driver license.
- Experience working with a diverse community including unhoused, substance abuse and mental health challenges.
- Experience with inventory system software.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills.
