Do you have a passion for helping other people? Are you looking for experience in the Behavioral Health Services field? We are looking to grow our Crisis Hotline Team located in our Sojourner Recovery Services agency in Hamilton, Ohio.
Community Health Alliance is a non-profit behavioral health agency that provides treatment services in Butler, Warren, and Preble counties, to adults with substance abuse and mental health problems. We are looking to hire team oriented, Crisis Consultant Aide to provide hotline services including mental health support, crisis de-escalation, and information and referrals to other services and resources.
Flexible work hours with occasional weekend and overnight shifts.

Pay Rate : $17.00/hour

As a Crisis Consultant Aide your job duties and responsibilities will be:
- Establishing rapport with the client and assisting the caller to handle the existing situation.
- Operating a telephone hotline. Have an ability to handle various types of calls.
- Assessing human service requirements via phone using crisis intervention, suicide risk assessment, and active listening skills.
- Searching computer database to provide appropriate social service provider referrals.
- Maintaining appropriate documentation of work.
- Acting as an actively contributing team member and supporting the mission and work of the organization.
- Developing effective working relations within the organization.
- Have a general knowledge of the social services field.
Required skills as a Crisis Consultant Aide are:
- 18 years of age
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Customer Service Experience
- Behavioral Health population experience (preferred)
