Community Health Alliance is looking for an Executive Director to lead Sojourner Recovery Services. The Executive Director is directly responsible for the clinical, operational and fiscal management of the full continuum of behavioral health services provided in community, outpatient and residential settings. The Executive Director oversees all aspects of agency operations and is responsible for maintaining the highest standard of care for our patients.

Job duties and responsibilities:
- Leads the organization in a manner that supports and guides the organization’s mission.
- Develop and implement strategic plans that meet business goals and objectives created in partnership with Community Health Alliance Executive Team and Board of Directors.
- Inspires and motivates others to support the mission and achieve high performance standards.
- Creates a culture of accountability, communication and transparency throughout the organization.
- Engages the community in the mission of the organization by fostering relationships with key stakeholders, including local boards, funders, government agencies, partner agencies.
- Effectively builds and promotes the brand of the organization to advance the mission.
- Responsible for fiscal management that generally anticipates operating within the approved budget, ensures maximum resource utilization and maintenance of the organization in a positive financial position.
- Maximizes organizational effectiveness; effectively allocates resources and provides staff with support and tools to complete job functions; Develops performance targets and manages to those targets; Effectively delegates work assignments, sets expectations and monitors delegated activities; provides consistent feedback to staff and teams; accurately assesses the needs of the organization and responds accordingly.
- Directs, plans, coordinates, develops and monitors multiple locations and services in accordance with the contract, licensing, certification, accreditation, and agency standards.
- Assures policies and procedures for operations are in compliance with all appropriate local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or Social Sciences related field
- Minimum of 10 years of management experience
- LISW-S or LPCC-S preferred
- Experience in behavioral health and Ohio Behavioral Health Re-Design is preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication sills
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and data management environments
- Experience with CARF or Joint Commission accreditation required.
