We are seeking an advanced practice provider to join one of the nations most integrated healthcare systems, with over 1,300 providers in Indianapolis, IN. This PRN NICU Neonatal Nurse Practitioner opportunity is located at Community Hospital East.
Highlights
Community Hospital East features a 16 bed Level III NICU
Requirement to provide care of Level-III newborns, with the ability to stabilize those we do not keep for transfer
Must have the ability to care for infants with BW >1000 grams and/or >28 weeks gestational age and those that are convalescing after intensive care
Requirements
PRN Commitment: Minimum of 24 hour shift per month, with an emphasis on weekend availability
Level III NICU Experience is required
Experience with delivery attendance and initial stabilization, including procedures (intubation, umbilical line placement, vent management) is required
Must be comfortable being the only in-house provider for the NICU
Must be hardworking, driven, and independent
Excellent communication skills
Licensure & Certifications
Educational background consistent with requirements for licensure and certification within the state of Indiana
