We are looking for an experienced Director of Finance for Community Health Partners (CHP). In this role, you will be integral to implementing and creating effective fiscal planning, reporting, and the attainment of strategic goals that align with the strategic goals and objectives of the organization. You will work collaboratively with CHP's executive team and Community Health System's (CHS) financial leadership team to build and sustain financial strength.
Community Health System is a locally owned, not-for-profit, public-benefit organization based in Fresno, California. As the region's largest healthcare provider and private employer we operate four acute-care hospitals - Community Regional Medical Center, Clovis Community Medical Center, Fresno Heart & Surgical Hospital, and Community Behavioral Health Center - as well as several long-term care, outpatient, and other healthcare facilities. In addition to our hospitals, our health system includes a vast medical network, medical foundation, medical group, and health plan.
Community Health Partners and Community Physicians Group are our newly formed medical foundation and multi-specialty medical group. The Community Provider Network is a network of provider affiliates and partners that provides our patients access to over 1,400 physicians. Our health plan, Community Care Health, is the third-largest HMO in the region.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the analysis of CHP's financial environments, economic and political trends, and internal financial data to use in advising executive management regarding major financial initiatives and capital expenditures as well as forecasting.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of financial and operational reporting and key indicator dashboards to meet internal needs, serve physicians as well as external authorities, regulatory boards, and other entities.
- Direct an annual budgeting process that supports the organization's business needs and is adaptable to its various programs, services, and divisions.
- Direct and coordinate CHP and physician group financial planning and budget management functions.
- In conjunction with the VP Chief Financial Officer CHP, oversees the preparation and execution of physician compensation and contracts for the Community Provider Group (CPG) and professional services agreements with other physician groups.
- Oversees the preparation and submission of financial and operational reporting and key indicator dashboards to meet internal needs, serve physicians as well as external authorities, regulatory boards and other entities.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration required
5 years of progressive experience in Accounting and Finance required
