Community Healthcare System is hiring a Full-time Registered Nurse to work Day shifts within our Neuroscience Critical Care team at the Community Hospital in Munster, IN!
Sign-on Bonus upto$10,000
Neuroscience ICU
- 12 private bed Specialty Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit
- Stroke, Spine, Thrombectomy, Bleeds, Post-Crani, Seizure patients
- Comprehensive Stroke Center with 24/7 Neurointensivist, Neurointerventionalist, Neurosurgeon, and Nurse Practitioner coverage.
- Support Personnel include: Director of Neuroscience, Nurse Manager, Clinical Team Leader, Stroke Coordinator, Clinicians, Transfer coordinator and team, Stroke Data Nurse, Social Services, Case Management, Dietary, Utilization Management, Therapy services, Wound/Ostomy Service, IV Team, and Admit/Discharge nurse. Self-Scheduling
- Involved Leadership, vested nurses, and a family-like culture.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Current RN license to practice in IN (IN licensure or multi-state (compact) license)
- Successful completion of The Community Healthcare System's Personnel and Nursing Orientation Programs
- Obtains and maintains current CPR certification.
Registered Nurse Roles and Responsibilities:
- To render professional nursing care to a group of assigned patients within the hospital.
- Collaborates with the medical staff and other members of the health care team to provide quality patient care.
- Performs all the activities in accordance with approved policies and guides.
- Supervises and delegates to ancillary personnel.
