Overview
Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for two part-time (25 hrs/wk) Clinical Interns at our Fitchburg location. Clinical Interns at the Fitchburg Counseling Center provide individual and group therapy, complete strength-based comprehensive assessments, treatment plans, and work with clients to achieve their goals. Telehealth options may be available!
Responsibilities
- Provide direct clinical treatment to adults, children, and adolescents as represented in the caseload through:
- diagnostic evaluations and screenings
- crisis/emergency assessment and intervention
- treatment planning and assessment
- individual, group, couple and family therapy
- Participates in interdisciplinary diagnostic treatment and planning conferences as needed
- Consults with area schools, doctors, individuals, and other social service agencies, insurance providers and hospital networks regarding clients, client services and case management as needed

Qualifications
- Enrolled in Masters degree program in a clinical course of study in behavioral health (social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, counseling or related field) that meet the academic requirements for independent licensure in psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or mental health counseling in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
