Community Horizons is assisting a fellow community member in the recruitment process for an in-home, experienced care professional. Experience what self-directed support is all about! Less stress, while building a wonderful 1:1 relationship built on trust and caring.
Hours: Overnight: 8 pm-7 am (sleep shift)
Evening Shift: 3 pm-8 pm
Day Shift: 7:30 am-3 pm
· Including every other weekend.
· Overnight shift is a sleep shift but must attend to member as needed.
· Currently hiring for all shifts!
Pay: $16.50 per hour
· The wage for this position starts at $16.50 per hour with the potential for increases once trained.
· Paid training up to 8 shifts
Tasks include but are not limited to:
· Hands-on assistance while walking.
· Assistance with feeding by mouth and through J-Tube
· Personal care
· Med administration
· Transfers
· Toileting includes incontinence care.
· Community involvement and activities.
· Hands on care with line-of-sight care always.
Ideal Candidate:
· Covid Vaccinated
· Minimum of 1 year Caregiving experience
· Must pass a background check.
· Dependable vehicle with insurance.
· Punctual, Dependable
· Strong work ethic
Community Horizons offers support for individuals enrolled in self-directed programs through Managed Care Organizations or IRIS (Include, Respect, I Self-direct) throughout Wisconsin. Self-direction gives program participants the choice over who provides services and how they receive them. Community Horizons is not the employer on record, members make all hiring decisions with the involvement of a third-party fiscal agent responsible for payroll.
