Job Summary:
The Painter is responsible for maintaining and improving the aesthetic and functional aspects of a hospital's interior and exterior surfaces. This role plays a crucial part in creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and healthcare staff. Additionally, the Painter is responsible for painting and maintaining various surfaces within a healthcare facility, ensuring a safe and visually pleasing environment. This includes painting walls, ceilings, doors, and other hospital structures, as well as performing touch-ups and repairs as needed.
Qualifications –License, Education and/or Experience Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a painter, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and color theory.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations related to painting in healthcare environments.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to handle the demands of the job, including lifting, climbing, and working in various positions.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe hospital environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
This position's hiring range is: $28.00 - $32.020 per hour, depending on education and experience.
Discretionary bonuses, relocation expenses, merit increases, market adjustments, recognition bonuses and other forms of discretionary compensation may be paid to eligible employees based upon organizational and individual performance.
