Workers' Compensation Coordinator- Dr. Hume

Workers' Compensation Coordinator needed for busy orthopedic spine surgery practice in South OKC

Monday - Friday, no weekends or major holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule patients
  • Review legal documents related to worker's compensation
  • Intake of patient information
  • Obtain accurate demographics and enter all patient date efficiently
  • Coordinate patient care with adjustors and/or nurse case managers
  • Ensure conformance to applicable laws and regulations 
  • Chart prep, scanning, indexing medical records and other duties as assigned.


  • Able to maintain a high level of customer service.
  • Must possess a strong work ethic and the ability to interact well with patients and co-workers.
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records preferred but not required. 
  • Previous experience in a medical office a plus.
  • Must be highly dependable, self-motivated with strong organization skills.
  • Position requires attention to detail and multi-tasking.
  • Attendance, punctuality, a positive attitude and flexibility are keys to the success in this position.
  • MS Office Knowledge.
  • High School Graduate or equivalent required. (GED)
