What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home Health Aide position at Community LIFE?
We are hiring Community Care Aides at Community LIFE's new unit in Oakmont! For this position, we are currently offering a sign-on bonus of $2,000 for full time employees.
This setting is transitional and allows our participants a place to gain their strength back when they or their family are uncomfortable with discharging home from the hospital. The goal of this unit is to get participants back into their own residence.
Our Community Care Aides provide assisted living services such as bathing, toileting, dressing, meal prep, etc. to our participants who are age 55 .
If need arises, you may be required to work some Community LIFE home care visits within the community. For the community visits, you would be paid additional compensation through mileage reimbursement at the current Federal rate. You may also have the chance to pick up extra shifts in addition to your regular schedule. This is a great way to make some extra cash!!
We currently have the following aide positions available at the Oakmont facility:
1st Shift - Full-time - 7a-3:30p M-F and every other weekend.
1st Shift - Part-time - 7a-3:30p (16-20 hours/week M-F) and every other weekend.
2nd Shift - Full-time 12:30p-9p M-F and every other weekend.
2nd Shift - Full-time 3p-11:30p M-F and every other weekend.
3rd shift - full-time 11p-7:30a M-F and every other weekend.
3rd shift - part-time11p-7:30a (16-20 hours per week M-F) and every other weekend.
On-Call 3rd shift 11p-7:30a seven days a week available - (need will be dependent on daily staffing needs).
REQUIREMENTS: A high school diploma/GED, a reliable vehicle, a valid driver's license and at least 1 year of verifiable hands-on experience caring for the frail/elderly population is required for this position.
