Homestead - Part-Time Hours - 24 Hours A Week M-F, Hours Open For Discussion!
Summary :
The Housekeeper is responsible for providing home chore services (including household duties and steam cleaning) to assigned participants at their place of residence as assigned by their Supervisor in accordance with the Plan of Care approved by the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT).
Required Education : High School Diploma or GED.
Required Experience : One or more years of cleaning / housekeeping experience.
Required Skills :
- Ability to understand and carry out non-technical verbal and written directions, record messages, and keep records.
- Ability to get along well with others and gain the cooperation of participants.
- Physical and emotional ability to carry out assigned tasks.
- Empathetic and compassionate attitude toward the elderly.
Desired or Preferred Knowledge, Skills and / or Abilities :
- Interest in geriatrics and community-based programming.
- Ability to appreciate and enjoy working with elderly individuals.
