What are the responsibilities and job description for the PACU - Registered Nurse position at Community Medical Center?
Sign-On Bonus: External applicants eligible for up to $15,000.00.
Sign-on bonus eligibility: Open to external applicates who have not been previously employed by CMC in the last rolling 9 months.
This is a full time (0.8 - 1.0 Status), day shift Registered Nurse position in the PACU Department.
The RN utilizes nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care of patients from admission to department through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in PACU setting, acts as patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel. Knowledgeable in surgical procedures, disease processes, interventions, PACU supplies and equipment, and pharmacological agents.
Minimum Required: RN License required. BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire, ACLS and PALS within six (6) months of hire. Must have recent hospital experience, at least one (1) year acute adult/critical care/ICU experience in an inpatient setting within last three (3) years. Proficient in English, verbal and written communication skills, and computer skills required.
Preferred / Desired: BSN Preferred. Prefer PACU experience. Prefer CPAN Certification.
On Call / Weekend Requirements: Yes, per MNA Contract.
