Overview
*All positions are located in Fresno/Clovis CA*
As an Innovation Performance Improvement Specialist for Community Regional Medical Center, you will bring expertise to the coordination of specific facility-wide innovation and performance improvements. You will develop and administer these improvements in alignment with the facility’s strategic goals. In your role you will promote the facility’s capacity to adopt innovative approaches to problem-solving and to sustain a high performance improvement environment.
Community Regional is a Level 1 Trauma Center that serves as the safety net hospital for the Central Valley. Community Regional is home to the Table Mountain Rancheria Trauma Center and Leon S. Peters Burn Center – the region’s only trauma and comprehensive burn center between Los Angeles and Sacramento. Our trauma center is located in downtown Fresno, California and serves a 15,000 square mile service area.

Responsibilities
In your role, you will:
- Participate in the development of facility-based innovation and performance improvement strategies.
- Coordinate and participate in innovation and performance improvement projects by providing a range of roles as required by the project’s plan.
- Champion a culture of innovation and performance improvement to ensure the sharing of ideas across the organization.
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns and performance levels that suggest opportunities for improvement.
- Develop data collection structure, method, plan and format to ensure meaningful data is being collected, analyzed and displayed graphically in order to facilitate innovation and performance improvement.
- Assess and provide recommendations on key performance indicators.
- Cultivate key stakeholder affiliations through relationship-building, planning and change management.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Health Care Management, Organizational Development or related field required
- Master's Degree in Business, Health Care Management, Organizational Development or related field preferred
Experience
- 1 year of prior experience with project management, research, and data analysis required
Licenses and Certifications
- LSS - Lean Six Sigma preferred
