Community Solutions, Inc. (CSI) is searching for a strong and dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our amazing and dedicated team at the Santa Barbara Day Reporting Center. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of working with the criminal justice impacted populations, engagement with public entities along with some knowledge of Evidence Base Practices and Motivational Interviewing, are some skills that may be needed for this position in addition to strong administration skills. You will be responsible for computerized facility information and will complete reports as needed or directed. You will also be responsible for office management, maintaining office inventory and ordering supplies as needed.

Position Overview
- Provide administrative support to Santa Barbara DRC, including email correspondence and generation and distribution of memos, letters, spreadsheets, forms, and faxes.
- Provide overall administrative support by managing, incoming calls, incoming/outgoing mail and shipments, and maintaining an organized and clean work area.
- Assist training department and central office in various projects including, but not limited to: copies and color printouts for trainers, set-up of trainings, travel arrangements, event and meeting coordinating, employee appreciation initiatives, such as gift, flower and food ordering.
- Purchasing and invoicing: Complete requisitions in accounting and credit card programs routinely for accounts payable processing.
- Organize and maintain up-to-date and orderly assigned office files, and continually record and update information.
- Maintain a working knowledge of and abide by the Agency’s programs, policies, and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Associates Degree plus one year of Administrative experience. Education may be substituted with relevant experience on a one year for one year basis.
- Must have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Windows, and Outlook
- Good written and interpersonal skills.
- Two (2) weeks’ vacation accrued within the first year, bumped to three (3) weeks accrual after 1 year of service.
- Sick time (7 days accrual basis), floating holiday time (4 days/year).
