Job Posting for Support Service Professional (Direct Care) at Companion and Support
A family in the Clarion area is looking for an experienced individual to fill the role of Support Service Professional.
The right candidate will provide compassionate direct care to a young adult male with mild intellectual disabilities, a Developmental Disorder - Pervasive Developmental Disorder, Autism, and a seizure disorder.
The Support Service Professional with assist him with participating in everyday life in his home and the community.
· He needs full physical support with taking care of his personal hygiene needs.
- He needs partial assistance with completing other daily living tasks such as dressing and eating.
· He enjoys walking, swimming, and swinging on his adult swing set.
· He is non-verbal but uses sign language and gestures to indicate his needs and wants.
If you have prior experience working with developmentally disabled young adults in a direct care role, we encourage you to apply for this position.
Job Type: Part Time; Flexible; looking for a candidate to work two days during the week and possibly one day on the weekend
