Working Arrangement Hybrid Job Description Manulife Investment Management ,Timberland & Agriculture, is a registered investment adviser and wholly owned subsidiary of Manulife Financial Corporation. MIMTA is based in Boston, Massachusetts and is comprised of two core businesses: Manulife Timber Group and Manulife Agricultural Group. MIMTA develops and manages diversified agricultural and timberland portfolios for a global client base. As of December 2020, assets under management totaled approximately $14 billion. These assets are located in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Chile, and Brazil. MIMTA creates value through the sustainable management of natural resource investments. Through the five pillars of its Sustainability and Responsible Investing (SRI) platform, MIM TA integrates environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors throughout all aspects of its investment decision-making and property management. MIM TA impacts include managing 100% of its eligible timberland investments to third-party sustainability standards, planting over 46 million trees, sequestering over 2.1 million tons of CO2 from the atmosphere, and leading the effort to establish a third-party sustainability standard for agriculture. The opportunity Works directly with Area Managers, Ranch Managers and Ranch Foremen for day-to-day office support. Works collaboratively with lead Ranch Administrator in standardizing workflow between corporate office and field offices. Responsibilities Verify insurance coverage through the corporate office for all new vendors and current vendors. Request required insurance from vendors and notify the insurance coordinator at the corporate office of the requests. Verify pesticide use report(s). Use Agrian. Assist the team in ensuring compliance on issues such as compressors, setting up inspections through workers’ compensation carrier, air pollution county districts compliance, etc. Code all invoices for various ranches for the Area Manager’s approval. Track all vendors and invoices in Excel. Complete equipment tracking request forms for any equipment being added, deleted or rented on any of the properties. Retrieve/Deliver parts for the various ranches as needed. Assist with the budget process. Effectively handle all compliance for contractors, labor contractors, vendors, equipment and processors. Assist with the bidding process. Greet and direct office visitors, respond to direct requests for information and/or forward messages to appropriate staff. Receive and distribute all incoming mailing, coordinate outgoing mail including courier services, postage and interoffice mail distribution. Perform inventory of the various ranch equipment annually. General office duties such as typing, filing, ordering office supplies, faxing, etc. Ensure the offices are kept in order. Request, track and send all Monthly Management Reports to corporate office. Track and file property monthly inspection paperwork. Assist with credit applications for various vendors. Data entry of harvest records such as load sheets, weight tags, etc. Other duties as assigned What can we offer you? A competitive salary and benefits packages. Primary Location Bancroft, Wisconsin Salary range is expected to be between $38,850.00 USD - $64,750.00 USD If you are applying for this role outside of the primary location, please contact recruitment@manulife.com for the salary range for your location. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
