Music Curriculum Manager. F/T. Remote telecommuting position based in mainland U.S. & reporting to HQ in Pasadena, CA. Salary $140,000. Oversee Educational Pre-Production Process (60%): Identify specific strengths of artists / instructors & conceptualize tutorial productions around strengths. Dvlp a clear pedagogical step-by-step process of teaching specific pieces, musical concepts, techniques or other music-related topics for each tutorial production; & draft related musical curriculum plans. Communicate tutorial concept w/ artists / instructors, production crew, & all other involved parties to understand music edu & performance elements reqd. Coord Artists / Instructors (40%): Identity & source influential artists / instructors throughout the world, as well as up-&-coming stars. Ensure artists/instructors are involved throughout the tutorial production process. Communicate w/ mgmt on & address all artist / instructor legal, compensation, & educational content. Monitor latest trends & dvlpmts in the music world. Local/national/int'l travel to industry events (festivals, conferences, expos, concerts) to extend & maintain musical networks. Reqs Master's deg in Music Edun, Music Performance, or a related field, OR foreign equiv/combo of edu & exp. Exp must incl: 1) planning & performing in musical performances & events; 2) teaching music to students of all age groups; 3) music curriculum dvlpmt & mgmt; & 4) artist mgmt. Reqs local/national/int'l travel 25-35% of time to industry events (festivals, conferences, expos, concerts) to extend & maintain musical networks.
