We are a dynamic group that leverages these companies' operational and manufacturing capabilities by producing valuable marketing and sales results. All of our clients are in the B2B marketplace.
We are looking for a remote Technical Administrative Support Specialist to assist employees with technical issues or questions relating to computer hardware or software devices and provide various administrative support as required. Duties include taking phone calls from staff members or communicating with them through messaging platforms, helping them troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues over the phone, and speaking with them about installing hardware or software on their computers. This role is also responsible for interacting with clients to obtain email credentials, test credentials, and follow up with clients as needed to resolve issues.
This is a customer care role. Our employees are your customers. Our employees are of varying skill levels and this role will require extreme patience, kindness, and empathy to help them solve their challenges. You will need to be a real “people person” in order to be most effective. They may need ongoing repetitive support and follow-up to ensure we have addressed their challenges. This is not a “support ticket” kind of role. You must have the ability to communicate solutions on a layman’s level for individuals with less technical knowledge and skill.
The position can start on a part-time basis and transition to full-time over the course of 3-4 weeks or can begin immediately at full-time if needed. This is a long-term position that pays up to $41,600 - $52,000 per year paid at an hourly rate. You will be paid weekly via an online platform with all fees absorbed by us. Health insurance, dental insurance and 401(k) plan are available.
It is essential that the person selected is available during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time
Responsibilities
- Act as the initial point of contact for all computer and system-related concerns for employees.
- Interact with clients as needed to obtain email credentials and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
- Resolve employee technical issues to manage, maintain, and repair supported systems.
- Identify hardware and software solutions.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair technical issues.
- Assist in creating training materials pertaining to technical troubleshooting and usage.
- Maintain a working log detailing all support updates.
- Maintain and update various spreadsheet logs as required, per task.
- Attend meetings to analyze, troubleshoot and diagnose hardware problems.
- Providing timely and accurate customer feedback.
- Conduct New Hire IT Evaluations and Computer Skills Assessment Meetings, as needed.
- Conduct new hire technology review meetings with new hires for Zoho CRM training setup, as needed.
- Educating employees and customers on common IT troubleshooting solutions (with documentation) when necessary.
