What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concrete Finisher position at Compass Consultants?
Compass Consultants Inc. has a 50-year history of providing leading-edge, professional engineering services and consulting for the telecommunications industry. We have expanded our operations to include Traffic Control.
We are currently seeking a Concrete Finisher for our Kansas Operations.
This full-time position is responsible for providing high-quality concrete work on roadway signage installation projects, working either independently or as part of a sign installation crew along the roadway.
We require you have the following:
- The ability to travel out of state
- Minimum 1 year of work experience as a concrete laborer or mason.
- Knowledge of hand-held and power tools including power vibrators, polishers, cutting saws, and edging tools.
- Knowledge of safety requirements for a variety of situations
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
We prefer the following skills and experience:
- Knowledge of government regulations as they apply to all aspects of the construction process
- Valid Class A license, or ability to obtain permit 6 months upon hire
