The Assistant Director of Facilities at Texas A&M University will share the responsibility for the operation of all service lines at the facility relating to the POM Department, Environmental Services Department, Grounds and Maintenance Department. Assist in formulating policies and direct operations, work with staff in all matters of cleanliness and sanitation of the facility, and develop and maintain an environment where safety is first,
Job duties & responsibilities:
- Coordinate POM activities with other departments.
- Actively work with administration.
- Plan, prioritize, direct, and coordinate functions and activities of the department.
- Establish and implement policies and procedures for departmental operations.
- Encourage and mentor staff and support innovation
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies
- Demonstrate quality leadership in meeting performance plans
- Training and development of Managers
- Inspect facilities constantly to ensure quality control procedures are applied
- Assist in developing/revising annual budgets
- Maintains direct contact with varying levels of administration including the direct client and/or vendors, as business needs warrant
- Ensures facility's strategic objectives are defined and achieved
- Ensures company capital assets are secured and maintained in first class working condition through direct means within CMMS program used at the account
- Minimum four year college degree highly preferred
- 5 years management experience preferred
- Led multimillion dollar annual budget
- Have handled a workforce of 30 Employees
- Must have the ability to analyze and interpret financial data
- Excellent written & verbal skills
- Outstanding customer service and quality demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment and meet established goals and objectives
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to maintain organization in a fast paced, changing environment
