OCD & Complex Anxiety Group Therapist

As a group therapist, you will spend the majority of your time with our patients facilitating evidenced based groups using modalities like CBT, DBT, ACT, and ERP. Our location in Northbrook is our first and largest facility, and consists not only of our widest variety of programs, but also serves as a pilot site for many of our new treatment offerings.  

What You'll Do:

• Providing group therapy to patients in a safe and therapeutic milieu
• Provide individual and group-based Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy
• Attend training for Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy
• Conduct and write assessments of patients transferring into the program when needed
• Development and implementation of program material and curriculum
• Provide insurance utilization team with updates
• Participating in professional development activities
• This position may also include meeting with patients individually for crisis management or support
• Opportunity to facilitate family or parent support groups if interested
• Other duties as assigned

Who You Are:

• Are passionate about facilitating group therapy and seeking an environment to work collaboratively with others
• Are a Master’s level therapist
• Hold the following licenses or education: LSW (or LSW eligible), LPC (or LPC eligible), LCSW, or LCPC
• Have familiarity with or interest in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)
• Have a fundamental interest in OCD and anxiety disorders
• Have prior experience working in partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, inpatient hospital, or residential setting (preferred, not required)
