Role Overview
As a Community Living Instructor/Direct Support Professional at Compass Health Network, you will play a vital role in assisting our Wellness Team with facilitating activities and groups for residents of SWMPRC. This position focuses on enhancing rehabilitation in living skills, self-care skills, social skills, leisure skills, and work skills for consumers with chronic mental health issues. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about providing excellent client care and are comfortable working closely with this population. Various shift options are available to accommodate different schedules.

Key Responsibilities
- Providing a safe and secure environment for therapeutic growth
- Using individual and group activities to help consumers develop behaviors and skills
- Implementing approved curriculum focused on managing mental illness
- Utilizing methods to improve individuals' motivation for independence
- Delivering meaningful individual and group activities tailored to consumers' cognitive levels
- Assisting consumers in accessing mental health services and public resources
- High School/GED required
- At least two (2) years of experience in a mental health-related field preferred
- Valid driver's license required, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Class E MO driver's license
