What are the responsibilities and job description for the EHR Application Support II position at Compass Health Network?
Compensation: $76,462.26 Annually
The EHR Application Support II is responsible for providing user support and services for EHR applications utilized by
providers, nursing, health care clinicians, and ancillary staff.
This is a Remote, Full-time benefit eligible position working Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – JOB SPECIFIC
• Provides fundamental support for EHR applications. Facilitates the upkeep and design of appropriate user training materials with super users and serves as training resource to the agency
• Responsible for creation, maintenance of EHR form and creating of reports for printing documentation
• Record, track and document the problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through to final resolution
• Also serves as a liaison/change agent between clinicians and IT professionals to facilitate the adoption of new systems, procedures and workflow.
• Responsible for assisting in evaluation, planning, implementation, and upgrading of all electronic health record and associated software systems.
• Collaborates with providers, nursing, and health care clinicians regarding clinical workflow to ensure successful implementation of technology that benefits patient care and achieves expected outcomes.
• Responsible for assisting in the design, delivery and improvement of in-house software applications training programs and related courseware.
• Assists projects, attend meetings, workshops, and various programs, as needed
• Although driving is not an essential function of the position, a valid license and agency established minimum automobile coverage are required in the event the employee drives during the course of employment.

• High School/ GED required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in computer science or related field
QUALIFICATION(S): WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• At least three (3) years equivalent work experience required if no bachelor’s degree
• Previous experience with other Electronic Health Records is preferred
• Proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies and issues resolution techniques
• Ability to conduct research into software development, delivery concepts, and technical application issues
