As a Nurse LPN Outpatient, you will play a crucial role in delivering specialized services to primary health care patients across multiple locations.
Position Overview
- Part-time PRN position with flexibility required
- Responsibilities include preparing patients for examinations, administering treatments, and providing patient education
- Availability to work Monday-Friday day shifts across Columbia, Marceline, and Salisbury locations
- Prepare exam rooms and assist physicians with procedures
- Administer medications, injections, and immunizations
- Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with regulations
- Provide education on medical conditions and self-management tools
- Monitor HIT tools for treatment alerts and hospital admissions
- High School/GED required, Practical Nursing certificate mandatory
- Minimum two years of experience in primary health care preferred
- Proficiency in healthcare technology software advantageous
- LPN or GPN certification with passing of MO NCLEX exam within 90 days of graduation required
