RESPONSIBILITIES OF A Unit Manager:
- Oversee the smooth operation of a nursing Unit.
- Managing all nursing personnel on unit and overseeing the medical condition of all residents.
- Providing nursing care within their scope of practice
- Performing appropriate segments of the prescribed medical regime for an assigned group of patients
- Working cooperatively with health care team members to maintain established standards of care
- Any other job duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS OF A Unit Manager:
- Must have an active Certification as an RN or LPN
- Experience preferred, not required
