NOW HIRING: Dementia Recreation Aide
- Sun – Thurs and Tues – Sat hours are 9-5
Responsibilities of a Dementia Recreation Aide:
- Organizes and implements recreation programs designed for program participants living with dementia.
- Monitors program participants, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Works individually with participants to assist with activities and provides assistance (e.g., transferring, toileting, feeding).
Qualifications of a Dementia Recreation Aide:
- High school diploma
- Serious Applicants
- Outgoing, warm, and caring personality
- Demonstrates good listening and communication skills
- At least experience working in a long-term facility or with the Dementia Population
- Dementia knowledge preferred
