Introduction
We are looking for our next CLINICAL HERO. As an emergency medicine physician at Complete Care, you will lead the charge in helping patients get the care they need. Our emergency room physicians work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team at Complete Care by providing comprehensive care to patients who present with a wide variety of illnesses and injuries. This position will require a high degree of critical thinking and clinical expertise in working with urgent and emergency clinical presentations.
The physician is responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management, education, consultation, health promotion and care coordination for patients and families. You are expected to have impeccable customer service skills, be willing to make post discharge phone calls, conduct documentation reviews, and feed-off positive patient reviews. Experience
- We require a minimum of 1 year of emergency room experience as physician.
- Examine patients; recommend treatment; prescribe medications.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Refers patients to specialists as necessary.
- Quality leadership and management skills.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Ability to work in a high-pressure environment while maintaining excellent patient care and customer service.
- Effective team player.
Requirements
- Current License in the State of Texas
- ABEM boarded or ACLS, ATLS, PALS
