Vice President of Payroll Job Summary:
Complete Care is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Payroll to lead and manage our payroll operations across all our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll management, compliance, and strategic planning, ensuring the smooth and efficient process of payroll for our dedicated staff.
Responsibilities Vice President of Payroll:
· Oversee and manage the entire payroll function for Complete Care, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing for all employees.
· Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
· Lead a team of payroll professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
· Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to streamline payroll processes and improve overall efficiency.
· Ensure proper reporting and reconciliation of payroll transactions.
· Address and resolve payroll-related issues and inquiries from employees.
· Stay updated on payroll laws and regulations, ensuring the company remains compliant.
· Develop and manage the payroll budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.
· Oversee the implementation and maintenance of payroll systems and software.
· Provide strategic direction and leadership in all aspects of payroll management.
Qualifications of Vice President of Payroll:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
· Minimum of 10 years of experience in payroll management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
· Extensive knowledge of payroll systems, processes, and regulations.
· Experience in the healthcare or nursing home industry is highly desirable.
